Hello I'm from scotland & my german (learnt at school over 20 years ago!) is too rusty for this so I'll have to use English

In level 15 where there are blocks with crosses diamonds and circles all next to each other:

I have managed to freeze a duck at the end of the row so I can drop the circle block down from above & stand on the duck block to push the circle on top of the other one but.... having done that if I then use the gap where the circle block was to stand and push the 2 crosses together I always lose a life because the diamond block falls on me.

How can I avoid this (can't see a magical pull power in the level so can't see how to do this any other way)
